My background is in the fitness industry and I owned a ladies fitness club for over 20 years. When I met my late husband Simon, my first introduction into the family business was to take care of the donations collected at funerals as I love to help all charitable causes. Since his passing, I now oversee the business as a whole, alongside my daughter Amy. We consider it a great privilege to honour Simon’s legacy and continue to help the families of Prestwich and Greater Manchester.

I have lived locally my whole life and have built strong friendships with lots of lovely people who I like to socialise with on a regular basis. As a lifelong horse lover my pride and joy is my horse Kia, who we have owned since she was a baby.

I work in the business full time as the Managing Partner following my father’s sad death in 2018. I am the fifth generation of the family to work in the funeral service, and hope to continue to build on my father’s legacy. I try to support our families as much as I possibly can, building specialised and bespoke funeral services to reflect the individuality of each person.

I also oversee all International Repatriations taking care of all the technical administration and procedures. Previously I obtained a Bachelor and Masters of Laws and trained as a solicitor. I adore dogs and like to spend as much time as I can in the great outdoors.

Olivia Boydell

Office Manager

I joined the Lilleywhite team to help take care of the administrative duties required when arranging a funeral. I provide support not only to our families, but to our team of funeral directors and drivers. I greatly enjoy working within a small, tight knit team and we really are like family here. I take great pride in the care of our deceased and lend a supportive ear to the families that we look after. I have two beautiful children and a sausage dog to keep me busy!

Gary Jones

Manager

I have been part of the Lilleywhite Family Funeral service since February 2017 and in the funeral profession for over 40 years, gaining my Diploma in Funeral Directing in 1988. Due to my experience I specialise in arranging and conducting funerals that may expect a very large attendance.

I am married to Hayley and have 4 beautiful daughters. My other love is Manchester City FC as a season ticket holder, but try not to hold that against me. My spare time is mostly spent having quality time with my family and friends.

Wesley Weibrecht
Funeral Director

I have been in the funeral industry for over fifteen years and joined Lilleywhite Funeral Service in June 2018 as an FSO and was promoted to Funeral Director in September 2020. Community is very important to me and I try to establish and build on new relationships and old ones. I take great pride in my work as a Funeral Director, and I like to make sure every aspect of the funerals I conduct are perfect.

At home I like to spend quality time with my wife Rachael, son Dillon friends. I enjoy taking part in many activities and Dillion keeps me on my toes as we go on bike rides, fishing and long walks.

Howard Jackson

Mortuary Manager

I have been the Mortuary Manager here at Lilleywhite Funeral Service for 25 years. My main duty is to take care of your loved ones in preparation for visits in the chapel of rest. I am responsible for maintaining the building grounds and driving our hearse and limousines on the day of your loved one’s service. My interests include long walks with my dog Fred, gardening, farming and visiting family and friends up and down the country.

Michael Bodenham

Vehicle Specialist

I have 20 years experience working here at Lilleywhite Funeral Service. It is my duty to bring your loved ones into our care.  I am responsible for the delivery of the necessary documentation required for a funeral to take place, alongside driving our funeral vehicles on the day of your loved one’s service. My interests include spending quality time with my family and my favourite past time is boarding a plane!

Anthony Hibbert

Driver and Bearer

help families through the toughest of times by looking after their loved ones.   At Lilleywhites I am the hearse driver and I look after the fleet of funeral vehicles as well as helping out with many other duties.

Away from work I like spending time with my wife and family, especially my grandchildren.  My hobbies are watching Rugby League and running. I am also a volunteer for a local charity called “Reubens Retreat” who help families that have children with life limiting illnesses and parents of loss.
